These are some of the recurring images, the left-overs in my memory, predominantly Western popular culture references.

I am interested in embedding scents from cultural materials with deep cultural and childhood associations. These materials such as incense, Chinese ink and soya sauce, once culturally and geographically unique, have become familiar and transcultural over the course of time. The concept of cultural authenticity becomes blur.
