Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (school of young talents) Junior Art Workshop, Singapore

The workshop is to focus on the changing perception of culture and identity. Although Singapore is located in Southeast Asia, it is a western culture influenced country. The youths created a painting of an ice-cream or pizza each, using the concept of cross-culture. An ice cream painting carried the scent of curry powder or the pizza painting carried the scent of five spice powder. The workshop examined the vibrant and evolving food culture in Singapore.
