My primary discipline is visual arts, with a painting-led practice that takes a multidisciplinary approach to contemporary painting. My work centres on a tactile paint-line as a visual language, inspired by memories of watching my mother, who also had ADHD, sew for a living. It operates as a form of control. Working with my own ADHD, my practice favours experimentation over routine, leading to explorations beyond traditional formats, including canvas-less paintings, automated surfaces, and interactive components such as QR-linked audio. These elements create sensorial, immersive encounters with painting while expanding its possibilities.
